Construction Practice Operations
Solo and small construction consulting practices run on project data that exists only in the principal’s head.
When the principal is in the field, nothing moves. When they’re writing reports, intake stops. AC Stampley builds the operational infrastructure to change that — and the system stays after the engagement ends.
The Engagement
Framework Design
Before anything gets built, the work gets mapped. How matters move from intake to close, where data fragments, where billable time disappears, where a future administrator has nothing to plug into. The framework is designed around how your practice actually works — not a generic template dropped into your context.
System Build
The framework lives in ClickUp. Project structure, workflows, phase gates, reporting visibility, invoicing triggers — configured for your specific matter types and volume. The principal gets a single dashboard: field inspections, reports due, hours ready to bill. The administrator gets everything else. Structured so the system runs without you in the middle of it.
Staff Transition
The system requires someone to run it. That person isn’t you. This phase defines exactly what the administrator role needs to look like, supports the hire, and trains them against the SOPs built into the system. At 30 days post-handoff, there’s a single system deck — not to manage the administrator, but to confirm the infrastructure is running the way it was built.
60 hours. Three months. One system check at 30 days. Clean exit after that.
“The system should run the work. Not the other way around.”
